Warranty period and territory

The voluntary warranty period for the main UVINNECO device is 24 months from the day of delivery to the consumer. The warranty applies to products that AquaVeya sells to consumers in the countries of the European Union.

What the warranty covers

AquaVeya warrants against defects in material, workmanship and in the mechanical or electronic operation of the device under normal use in accordance with the instructions. If a warranty claim is justified, AquaVeya will remedy the defect free of charge or replace the product. If remedy or replacement is not possible within a reasonable period, another appropriate remedy shall be applied in accordance with the warranty and the applicable legislation.

What the warranty does not cover

  • the Kinetic Reactor as a consumable cartridge with regard to normal wear and tear or the expiry of its expected service life (without prejudice to statutory rights due to a lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery);
  • normal wear and tear that does not constitute a defect of the product;
  • damage due to incorrect installation or use contrary to the instructions;
  • mechanical damage, impacts, drops or other external influences;
  • unauthorised interventions, repairs or modifications;
  • use outside the conditions stated in the instructions for use.

Making a warranty claim

The consumer notifies the warranty claim to support@uvinneco.com and states the order number, a description of the problem and, where possible, attaches photographs or a video. AquaVeya may require the product to be returned for diagnostics. In the case of a justified warranty claim, the consumer does not bear the costs of remedying the defect or of a justified return under the warranty.

Time limit for resolution

AquaVeya will endeavour to resolve the warranty claim without undue delay. For the purposes of this warranty certificate, a time limit of no more than 30 days from receipt of the complete claim or of the product, where its submission is necessary, is set. If, due to the nature of the repair, an extension is necessary and the applicable legislation allows it, the consumer shall be informed before the expiry of the time limit of the reasons and of the new time limit, which shall not exceed an additional 15 days.

Statutory rights

This warranty is an additional right. Independently of the warranty, the consumer has the statutory right to assert statutory claims for defects against the seller free of charge in the event of a lack of conformity of the goods. The warranty does not exclude or limit these rights.
